As an Electrical Engineer, you will ensure that our yachts feature state-of-the-art electrical systems that meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for luxury yachts, including power distribution, lighting, navigation, and automation.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Select components and ensure compliance with marine electrical standards.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Production teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to provide technical input.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during design, production phases, commissioning and in field yachts.
• Ensure compliance with classification societies and marine regulations.
• Report to the Technical Manager Engineering.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in yacht or shipbuilding.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g.,Catia, EPLAN); knowledge of PLM systems (Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE) is a plus.
• Knowledge of marine electrical standards (e.g.,CE, MCA, Lloyd’s Register, ABS).) and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and energy management; Knowledge of EmpirBus systems is a strong plus.
• Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of corrosion prevention and electrical bonding in marine environments is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a strong advantage.
