As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the mechanical integrity and performance of our yachts, delivering an unmatched experience to our clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and engineer interior layouts and components for luxury yachts.
• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
• Select materials and finishes suitable for marine environments (lightweight, corrosion-resistant, fire-retardant).
• Collaborate with designers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Optimize space usage while maintaining comfort and luxury standards.
• Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and classification requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during production and installation.
• Report to the Technical Manager Engineering.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in yacht or ship interior engineering (or high-end residential/marine projects).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Catia, Rhinoceros 3D); knowledge of PLM systems (Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE) is a plus.
• Knowledge of marine materials and their behaviour in saltwater environments.
• Understanding of weight optimization and structural integration.
• Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is a strong advantage.
