As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the mechanical integrity and performance of our yachts, delivering an unmatched experience to our clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, calculate, and optimize mechanical components and systems for high-performance yachts.
• Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Perform structural and mechanical analyses (FEA) to ensure safety and reliability.
• Support production teams with technical challenges and implementation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to provide technical input.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to innovation projects.
• Select and evaluate materials for marine applications, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
• Ensure compliance with marine standards and classification requirements (e.g.,CE, MCA, Lloyd’s Register, ABS).
• Report to the Technical Manager Engineering.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in yacht or shipbuilding.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Catia, Rhinoceros 3D); knowledge of PLM systems (Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE) is a plus.
• Familiarity with FEA tools and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented work approach.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a strong advantage.
